MAJOR GOALS BY PHASE

PHASE 1 (North On-Site Area)
Demolition of the 210 fifty-year old public housing units is complete.
This phase is comprised of 83 rental units which are now complete and 100% occupied as well as the 15 for-sale homes. The construction of a new 23,000 square foot community center called Elgin Station is also complete.

HUD approval to proceed: December 2002
Demolition Completion: February 2003
Construction Start: March 2003
Construction Finish: Completed October 2006 (Rental) Construction Finish: Completed October 2004 (For Sale)

PHASE 2 (Lanvale On-Site Area)
New construction of 45 rental units.

HUD Approval to Proceed: January 2004
Construction Start: February 2004
Construction Finish: Completed March 2005 (Rental)

PHASE 3 (Lanvale Off-Site Area)
New construction of 77 rental and 2 Habitat for-sale homes.

HUD approval to proceed: October 2004
Construction start: December 2004 Construction finish: December 2005 (Rental) Construction Finish: December 2006 (For Sale - Off-site)

PHASE 4 (County Property/Westport Drive Off-Site Area)
New construction of 85 rental homes and 45 for sale homes.

HUD approval to proceed: July 2005
Construction start: August 2005
Construction finish: December 2006

Neighborhood Beautification Program Exterior rehab of 49 existing neighborhood homes.

Rehab start: March 2005 Rehab Completion: September 1, 2005
